The creation of a health center represents, for communities, the beginning of a new era of progress. In this spirit, the opening of an integrated health center in Allanikro reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring that every Ivorian has access to a health facility within five kilometers of their home.
Inaugurated on April 19, 2025, this modern facility includes a maternity ward, a dispensary, eight hospital beds, and housing for medical personnel. A midwife and a nurse are already on site to provide care and services to residents from several surrounding villages.
This health center embodies the expansion of the national healthcare network and reflects the Head of State’s strong will to guarantee the health and well-being of all citizens. “This facility is of great social importance and provides real relief for our communities,” said Pascal Kouamé, a local resident.
“This health center will bring much-needed relief to this vulnerable population, particularly children, women, and the elderly. It will also put an end to frequent and often costly emergency evacuations,” added Océane Yobouet, a schoolteacher.
The integrated health center will play a key role in enhancing human capital, which is essential for all development strategies.
