August 22, 2024, Sir Ketumile Masire Teaching Hospital (SKMTH) hosted the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Prof Oathokwa Nkomazana and members of her Executive Management Team. The delegation took a guided tour of the facility to appreciate services offered, note milestones and challenges.

The tour covered Radiology Department, Pharmacy Unit, Trauma and Emergency Centre, Medical and Radiation Oncology Clinic, Medical and Surgical Wards, Adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Ophthalmology, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Renal Care Unit, and Laboratory. These units exemplify the hospital’s commitment to providing world-class healthcare services and addressing the diverse health needs of Batswana and the region.
