Le diagnostic est tomb\u00e9 en 2014, l\u2019ann\u00e9e m\u00eame o\u00f9 elle remportait son Oscar : 30 fibromes avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9tect\u00e9s dans son ut\u00e9rus. Elle a subi une intervention chirurgicale pour les retirer, mais son m\u00e9decin lui a expliqu\u00e9 qu\u2019il n\u2019existait aucun moyen de pr\u00e9venir leur r\u00e9apparition.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Une voix pour les femmes<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lupita ne s\u2019est pas content\u00e9e de partager son exp\u00e9rience : elle a lanc\u00e9 un appel \u00e0 l\u2019action. Elle souligne que des milliers de femmes noires et de femmes blanches sont touch\u00e9es par les fibromes ut\u00e9rins mais que le sujet reste largement tabou.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Nous devons rejeter la banalisation de la douleur f\u00e9minine. Fini de souffrir en silence ! \u00bb a-t-elle d\u00e9clar\u00e9 avec force.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Engagement politique et scientifique<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019actrice a \u00e9galement annonc\u00e9 son engagement aupr\u00e8s du Congr\u00e8s am\u00e9ricain, o\u00f9 elle a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 un ensemble de projets de loi visant \u00e0 :<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Financer la recherche sur les fibromes ut\u00e9rins<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Am\u00e9liorer la d\u00e9tection pr\u00e9coce<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; D\u00e9velopper des traitements moins invasifs.<\/p>\n<p>En partenariat avec la Foundation for Women\u2019s Health elle a lanc\u00e9 une bourse de recherche pour encourager des solutions m\u00e9dicales innovantes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Un message universel<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lupita Nyong\u2019o esp\u00e8re que son t\u00e9moignage r\u00e9sonnera aupr\u00e8s de toutes celles qui souffrent en silence. Elle milite pour une meilleure \u00e9ducation menstruelle, une reconnaissance des douleurs f\u00e9minines, et une prise en charge plus humaine des maladies gyn\u00e9cologiques.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Son courage ouvre la voie \u00e0 une conversation n\u00e9cessaire sur la sant\u00e9 des femmes, et rappelle que m\u00eame les figures publiques les plus
