Ces chiffres traduisent une transmission persistante et une d\u00e9tection tardive, notamment due \u00e0 un manque de sensibilisation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La Journ\u00e9e Mondiale des Malades de la L\u00e8pre (JML), instaur\u00e9e en 1954 par Raoul Follereau, demeure un levier essentiel pour sensibiliser \u00e0 cette maladie, qui peut \u00eatre trait\u00e9e efficacement si elle est d\u00e9tect\u00e9e pr\u00e9cocement. Pour l\u2019\u00e9dition 2025, le Programme National d\u2019\u00c9limination de la L\u00e8pre (PNEL) a choisi le District sanitaire de Kounahiri comme lieu de comm\u00e9moration, en raison d\u2019un r\u00e9habilitation du Centre de Sant\u00e9 Int\u00e9gr\u00e9 d\u2019Otehoa, la construction d\u2019un syst\u00e8me d\u2019eau potable, de bornes fontaines, de latrines VIP pour les \u00e9coles, ainsi que des fosses \u00e0 placenta \u00e0 Otehoa et Bobia. Les Infrastructures ont \u00e9t\u00e9 remises aux populations les 29 et 30 octobre 2024. Le Dr DIZOE AGUI Sylvestre, Directeur-Coordonnateur du PNEL, a encourag\u00e9 l\u2019utilisation de ces \u00e9quipements pour am\u00e9liorer la sant\u00e9, tandis que les Partenaires ont salu\u00e9 la collaboration avec le Minist\u00e8re et appel\u00e9 \u00e0 une gestion responsable de ces Infrastructures pour un impact durable.<\/p>\n<p>Cette initiative repr\u00e9sente sans aucun doute un
