Du 19 au 21 janvier 2023 le Gabon \u00e0 abrit\u00e9 le 8e Congr\u00e8s de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 africaine de pathologie infectieuse (SAPI) sous le th\u00e8me \u00ab contr\u00f4le des infections et urgences de sant\u00e9 publique \u00bb.
En marge de ce 8e Congr\u00e8s de la SAPI, s’est \u00e9galement tenu le 1er Congr\u00e8s de la nouvelle Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 gabonaise de parasitologie-mycologie et m\u00e9decine-tropicale (SOGAPAMME).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sous le Haut patronage de Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique, Chef de l\u2019Etat, Son Excellence Ali Bongo Ondimba et organis\u00e9e par le Minist\u00e8re de la Sant\u00e9 et des Affaires Sociales en collaboration avec la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 gabonaise de parasitologie-mycologie  et m\u00e9decine-tropicale (SOGAPAMME), ce Congr\u00e8s a \u00e9t\u00e9 un cadre d\u2019\u00e9changes entre les experts scientifiques de la communaut\u00e9 m\u00e9dicale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Globalement, ce Congr\u00e8s a \u00e9t\u00e9 marqu\u00e9 par des pr\u00e9sentations en pl\u00e9ni\u00e8re, des communications orales et affich\u00e9es et des symposia sur la prise en charge des maladies infectieuses \u00e9mergentes, la pand\u00e9mie de la Covid-19 et l\u2019approche One Health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sp\u00e9cifiquement, les diff\u00e9rents sp\u00e9cialistes de la prise charge des maladies non transmissibles ont eu \u00e0 d\u00e9battre sur la Covid-19, la pr\u00e9vention et le contr\u00f4le des infections, les antibio-r\u00e9sistance, la lutte contre la r\u00e9sistance aux antimicrobiens, les h\u00e9patites virales, les infections et maladies non transmissibles, les maladies tropicales n\u00e9glig\u00e9es (MTN), le paludisme, les parasitoses et mycoses tropicales, les infections \u00e0 VIH, les infections sexuellement transmissibles (IST) et d\u2019autres types d’infections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
