On estime qu&rsquo;en moyenne une personne passe le 1\/3 de sa vie \u00e0 dormir. Le sommeil est un \u00e9tat naturel de perte de conscience du monde ext\u00e9rieur. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que le sommeil joue un r\u00f4le capital dans le bien-\u00eatre psychologique. Tout comme la nutrition et le sport sont essentiels pour une bonne sant\u00e9, il en est de m\u00eame pour le sommeil.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Les troubles du sommeil: qu&rsquo;est-ce que c&rsquo;est?<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nLes troubles du sommeil sont li\u00e9s aux habitudes de sommeil d&rsquo;un individu, pouvant avoir des causes physiologiques, environnementales et comportementales. Les troubles du sommeil se caract\u00e9risent par une dur\u00e9e d&rsquo;endormissement sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 1h, un nombre d&rsquo;\u00e9veil nocturne sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 2 fois par nuit avec un re-endormissement sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 30minutes et un r\u00e9veil matinal avec une sensation de fatigue. Les troubles du sommeil peuvent \u00eatre li\u00e9s \u00e0 la quantit\u00e9 ou \u00e0 la qualit\u00e9 du sommeil.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Les causes des troubles du sommeil<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nPlusieurs facteurs sont \u00e0 prendre en compte;<br \/>\n-Du point de vue g\u00e9n\u00e9tique: on se base sur les profils des dormeurs( gros dormeur ou petit dormeur) et leurs changement de rythme<br \/>\n-L&rsquo;environnement: les bruits, le stress, la lumi\u00e8re et la temp\u00e9rature peuvent perturber le sommeil<br \/>\n-La profession qu&rsquo;exerce l&rsquo;individu<br \/>\n-Trop \u010finactivit\u00e9 la journ\u00e9e peut affecter le sommeil<br \/>\n-L&rsquo;\u00e2ge: plus on prend de l&rsquo;\u00e2ge, plus les rythmes veille-sommeil ont tendance \u00e0 changer. Le sommeil devient plus l\u00e9ger et plus fragment\u00e9. De plus, la quantit\u00e9 de sommeil dans la journ\u00e9e augmente avec siestes plus ou moins prolong\u00e9es au d\u00e9triment du sommeil nocturne.<br \/>\nLes diff\u00e9rents types de troubles du sommeil<br \/>\nOn distingue plusieurs cat\u00e9gories de troubles du sommeil:<br \/>\n-Les insomnies: c&rsquo;est le trouble du sommeil le plus fr\u00e9quent. On a dans ce cas des difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 s&rsquo;endormir ou \u00e0 rester endormi, un r\u00e9veil pr\u00e9coce ou une mauvaise qualit\u00e9 du soommeil.<br \/>\n-Les troubles respiratoires du sommeil<br \/>\n-Les hypersomnies<br \/>\n-Les parasomnies<br \/>\n-Les troubles du rythme circadien du sommeil etc<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Les cons\u00e9quences possibles des troubles du sommeil<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nLes troubles du sommeil peuvent avoir des cons\u00e9quences dans la vie sociale et professionnelle. Ils peuvent entra\u00eener une baisse de l&rsquo;attention et de la concentration. Ils peuvent \u00eatre \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine d&rsquo;acidents de la circulation routi\u00e8res ou de mauvaises performances au travail. La mauvaise qualit\u00e9 du sommeil ou un sommeil insuffisant peuvent favoriser des troubles digestifs et une diminution de la r\u00e9sistance naturelle aux infections. Ils peuvent aussi entra\u00eener des troubles psychologiques, une prise de poids et m\u00eame \u00e0 long terme majorer certaines maladies cardio-vasculaires telles que l&rsquo;HTA.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Pr\u00e9vention astuces et conseils<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nPour pr\u00e9venir les troubles du sommeil, il faut:<br \/>\n-Adopter de bonnes habitudes de sommeil<br \/>\n-Dormir r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement aux m\u00eame heures la nuit.<br \/>\n-Eviter de s&rsquo;exposer pendant longtemps aux \u00e9crans notamment la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision, l&rsquo;ordinateur et surtout les t\u00e9l\u00e9phones portables avant le sommeil car cela retarde le d\u00e9lai d&rsquo;endormissement<br \/>\n-Faire attention \u00e0 l&rsquo;usage syst\u00e9matique des somnif\u00e8res pour ne pas tomber dans la d\u00e9pendance ou m\u00eame aggraver les troubles du sommeil<br \/>\n-Admettre dans le quotidien Le repos, le loisir et le sport pour joindre l&rsquo;utile \u00e0 l&rsquo;agr\u00e9able.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bibliographie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Ref\u00e9rences<\/strong><br \/>\n-Kolo ES, Ahmed AO, Hamisu A, Ajiya A, Akhiwu BI.
